Nearing the end of my break
I'm starting to get that nervous stomach feeling about going back to school. I know I'm ok for work in the coming weeks and that I anticipate no problems with any of the assignments. I just have had a taste of freedom and it will be hard going back. I wonder if I spent enough time with Jen, or my family or my friends. At least I got to watch a movie with my dad. That has to be the biggest thing I miss about going away. Well only 5 or 6 weeks and I will be back for christmas, Just in time for snow!

This is an image I made last night for Steph's book, she didn't want a traditional "about the author" picture so I created this in the style of the interior illustrations. I hope she likes it, I don't want her just being nice to me. I think it turned out OK.
Exams are done till the end of the year, time to take a break for the week, UFC tomorrow night with dad hopefully and Halloween in Sudbury, or so the current status goes. Time to shake this headache and gravelly throat and get excited for the weekend!

Midterms are coming!
Tomorrow midterm madness begins, simple enough with Eva's designing for print, than Jody's on wednesday after Michaels, then thursday another pair of history ones, and finally a research one from Andrew which will probably send my mark in his class into the red. But chin up. next week I'll be home in my own bed!

I'm so glad it wasn't one of those "Be an angel, save a life" ones
(Zoom in for more Detail)
I'm so glad it wasn't one of those "Be an angel, save a life" ones. The obligation of donning superhero attire until a life is saved can get tricky when I have classes to attend. One class today, one class tomorrow. 8-5 on Wednesday, possibly 4 hours of Jody in one day... ugh! If only I were one of her favourites and didn't have to stress about her assignments.

Poem after a bikeride!
I could tell on my bicycle ride today.
A sweet smell of fermenting leaves in fall puddles.
Forest paths swelling with mud.
The greens transforming to vibrant crimson, amber and gold.
Clove & pumpkin filled sepia toned memories.
Morning mists.
Heavy dew.
Cool winds.
4 am showers.
Wool sweaters
Dusting of snow.
Down filled vests.
Orange toques & Sunday drives.
Big family dinners.
Warm homes
Welcome back, Fall
My old friend.
